Kiran Garcia

President
Kiran is a new member of the Florida and Georgia Bars and is transitioning from Family Law into Immigration. Prior to becoming an Attorney, Kiran co-founded Legal Process, Inc., a legal service business in Boca Raton, Florida. Kiran's passion lies in helping women, children and the underprivileged community members. Kiran has previously worked with the local Legal Aid and participated in other Non-Profits with similar passion and goals. As President of this prestigious organization, Kiran hopes to strengthen community ties and open discussions on topics that affect the South Asian Community.

Sayed Zonaid

Sayed M. Zonaid is Litigation Counsel at the U.S. arm of a multinational building materials company. Prior to transitioning in-house, Sayed practiced with firms in Palm Beach County for nearly five years, specializing in the areas of complex commercial litigation and appeals. Sayed's experiences also include interning for the Hon. Paul C. Huck of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He earned his bachelors degree in political science from the University of Florida in 2010 and his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2014.

Harsh Arora

Harsh Arora is a Partner at Nelson Mullins & Scarborough LLP and concentrates his practice in the areas of domestic and international dispute resolution. He counsels public and privately held companies as a boardroom advisor and a courtroom advocate in high stakes corporate matters. Harsh’s practice focuses on healthcare, real estate, private clubs, branded residences & hospitality, consumer products & retail, manufacturing, insurance, and technology sectors. Harsh serves as general counsel for businesses with a prominent national and international presence. His general counsel practice focuses on preventative counseling and business structuring. Harsh advises clients on mergers, acquisitions, conversions, and domestications. He has handled a wide range of business closings, negotiations, trademark registrations, corporate governance, industry-focused due diligence for regulatory aspects of proposed deals, and business tax matters in connection with audits by tax authorities. Harsh also assists clients with dispute resolution relating to corporate transactions through business litigation, arbitrations, and mediations. He handles complex cases such as parallel civil and administrative proceedings, multidistrict actions, and bet-the-company litigation. Harsh sits on the firm’s national Recruiting Committee and its Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Harsh was also the former President of SABA Florida and currently serves on the Board of Directors.

Kamlesh Oza

Kamlesh is the principal of Oza Law, P.A. The firm's practice areas include health law, medical malpractice/personal injury as well as appellate work. He is a licensed Realtor. He is also a FL Supreme Court Certified Mediator in Circuit Civil as well as Family Law. He graduated magna cum laude from University of Miami School of Law, where he earned numerous academic honors and distinctions, and is a past President of SABA FL.

Chantal Pillay

Chantal is a litigator who represents banks and financial institutions in a wide variety of civil litigation. Her practice areas include litigation, creditors' rights/special assets/workouts, financial services, and consumer financial services litigation. She earned her law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law, cum laude, and earned her B.A. in Political Science and International Affairs, cum laude, from Florida State University. She was voted one of the Best Lawyers© Ones To Watch in the area of Litigation-Banking and Finance for 2021.

Sarah Gulati

Sarah Gulati is a member of the Florida Bar and has helped many individuals purchase/sell businesses such as restaurants, hotels, gas stations, retail stores, medical practices and medical offices in Florida. She has served as the VP of North Florida numerous terms and has been an active part of SABA.

Nirav A. Desai

President
Nirav Desai is a Partner in the Aventura Office. He focuses his practice on first person property, consumer law, and tax litigation/planning and general civil litigation. Nirav has previously held board positions with SABA FL. Mr. Desai received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Economics from Wake Forest University. He received his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law. After completing is Juris Doctor he received his Master’s in Taxation MT/LLM from the University of Denver School of Law.

Akeen Patel

Akeen Patel is a tax attorney at Ernst & Young, based out of its Tampa office. His practice focuses primarily on state and local tax, including tax planning, compliance, and controversy matters. Akeen received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Florida State University. He received his Juris Doctor from Drexel University in Philadelphia.

Farheen Jahanagir

Farheen Jahangir is a Senior Associate at the Fort Lauderdale office of Conrad & Scherer, LLP. Farheen represents individuals, shareholders, and businesses with business disputes and complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal court. She obtained extensive experience with consumer finance, creditors' rights, and real estate litigation as both an attorney and a paralegal prior to joining her firm. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, magna cum laude, from State University of New York at Purchase College and grew up in Mississauga, Ontario, and Long Island, NY.

Ithi Joshi is an attorney with a specialization in corporate, business, and employment law. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, capital raises and structuring, and corporate governance matters. Prior to joining SABA-Florida, Ithi practiced corporate law in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Ithi received her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law and her B.A. from the University of Virginia.

Shobha Lizaso is an attorney who provides technology and intellectual property counsel to clients in the financial services industry. She currently works as VP, Sr. Counsel at Deutsche Bank. She is also an arbitrator for several entities including the Court of Arbitration for Art at The Hague, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, the American Health Lawyers Association, and Arbitration Resolutions, Inc.

Rahul Ranadive

Rahul P. Ranadive has over 20 years of experience advising international high net worth families on global estate and trust planning, private banking, and other personal tax matters. He advises closely held family businesses on a wide range of international and domestic tax and corporate issues. Rahul was one of the founding attorneys of SABA FL in 2004 and served as its initial President. Since then he has remained active with SABA North America, serving in various leadership positions for both organizations.

Manju Kalidindi is the Founder and Principal Attorney at the Law Office of Manju Kalidindi, P.A. in Plantation, FL. The firm’s focus is primarily in the area of employment-based and family based immigration law. Miss Kalidindi is the founder and President of thisdaughter.com, a platform for the empowerment of women. She is the co-founder and Vice-President of the South Asian American Democratic Caucus of Florida. She is a founding member of the South Asian Bar Association of Florida. She is the past President of Sahara of South Florida, a South Florida-based nonprofit organization that assisted victims of domestic violence, mainly from South Asia. Her pro bono legal work has also benefitted domestic violence victims under the Violence Against Women Act. She has been a volunteer attorney with Legal Aid of Broward and has represented victims of domestic violence and other crimes in their immigration matters.
